Education: English as a Second Language (ESL) Classes for adult residents in the community. An After School Program, with various activities offered to school age students from the neighborhood. Healthcare: Provide assistance to residents who are applying for Public Benefits such as WIC (Women Infant Care), ALL KIDS, Medicare and Medicaid, and Food Stamps (LINK Card). Refer residents who need medical assistance and meet specific qualifications to local free health clinic. Immigration: Citizenship Workshops and Informational Sessions with Pro-Bono Immigration Attorneys are provided to Legal Permanent Residents. Personal appointments are available. Neighborhood Safety: Local area residents come together to form Community Block Clubs in order to create a better sense of community and find ways of keeping the neighborhood safe. |
