       If you live in the Chicago area, are interested in what we do, and would like to get involved, please just call or e-mail us and we will be very happy to share our talents with you. If you would like to be a tutor, a GED teacher, a computer instructor, or just a means of support and friendship, we would love to have you become part of The Peace Corner. Also, please contact us if you were interested in facilitating or supporting any new programs or activities that you think might benefit the youth.

       The Peace Corner was launched just over seven years ago with only minor financial support from the Comboni Missionaries.  We feel compelled at this time to address the severe needs of young people on Chicago’s West Side whose growth and development is being damaged by the pervasive presence of poverty, drugs and violence. We have developed strong relationships with various donors, but we have begun nonetheless trusting in the generosity of friends and convinced of the critical nature of our mission.
